Walker Spring & Brake first opened in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1928 at the corner of Southern Avenue and Jordan Street by the Bogard Family (Bogard Spring).  It was then acquired by the Walker Family sometime in the 1940's and is now owned by the Bradford Family, who purchased the business in 1988 and have since added a heavy truck shop. Charles Bradford brought with him 30+ years of experience in leaf springs, front repair and brake service to a business that was already 60 years old. He and his son Randy Bradford, along with all the employees of Walker Spring have worked very hard to build a business thats recognized in North Louisiana and East Texas as the best spring repair facility around.

At Walker Spring & Brake, we custom bend U-Bolts up to 1 1/8" thick and most are made to order while the customer waits. Front end alignments are also a speciality, anything from a VW to an 18 wheeler can be aligned and balanced on premises. Suspension lifts on passenger cars is also a service that we were the first to add in Shreveport/Bossier. In addition to providing the services you need, we also carry in stock a selection of leaf spring parts, bushings, centerbolts, clips, front end parts, limited coil spring sets, and airlift airbag kits for motorhomes to get you on your way. Walker Spring & Brake also handles air suspension conversions on Lincoln's and many other makes of vehicles.
